Made in Greece Awards 2013: Top Distinction for HALCOR

The company was recognized in the “Export Excellence” category
HALCOR, a group with international activity in the production, distribution, processing and marketing of copper, copper alloy and zinc products and cables, received distinction in the “Export Excellence” category, during the Made in Greece Awards 2013 organized by the Greek Marketing Academy and under the auspices of the Ministry of Development & Competitiveness, the Ministry of Rural Development and Food and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.. 
HALCOR was recognized as an industry that produces and exports innovative, quality and value-added products, a distinction that proves the company’s efforts to strengthen its export activity and support the Greek economy, by providing innovative products that are preferred for their quality and reliability by leading businesses and organizations around the world.
HALCOR is an industrial group with more than 75 years of successful operation and a strong export orientation. The company maintains commercial presence in Europe, Asia, the United States and Africa, while it holds a significant market share in the European market. HALCOR is constantly breaking new ground with continuous investments in research and development, in order to develop new and innovative products. As a result of HALCOR’s export activity, 93% of the company’s turnover in 2013 originated from sales that were directed to more than 50 countries around the world.  
The Greek Marketing Academy has launched the Made in Greece Awards to support the effort for the productive reconstruction of the national economy and the establishment of a productive development model emphasizing on innovation, extroversion and the marketing of Greek-production quality products. The main goal of the Made in Greece Awards is the recognition and rewarding of productive enterprises, organizations, cooperatives, producer groups and personal efforts, which achieve great performance and create significant added-value for the Greek economy.
