Occupational health and safety

HALCOR demonstrates its commitment to safeguarding employee health and safety via the Occupational Health and Safety Management System it implements. HALCOR achieves continuous improvements in the health and safety arena by effectively implementing the System, investing in projects and programmes, and also thanks to the contribution and involvement of all employees who act responsibly in relation to these matters. The standing objective for all of us remains ‘zero accidents’.
HALCOR’s Health and Safety Management System is based on prevention.
  • seeks to ensure constant improvements to occupational health and safety conditions.
  • covers all of HALCOR’s production facilities (copper pipes/tubes plant, recycling plant – foundry).
  • is certiTed in line with the requirements of the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.

In order to ensure continuous improvements in the occupational health and safety sector, each year HALCOR makes major investments. Annual health and safety needs are evaluated, ranked, and the relevant steps are taken in line with the targets set by HALCOR's Health and Safety Division, and are approved by HALCOR’s management team.

Health and Safety Programmes
