The merger by absorption of FITCO by HALCOR has been finalized and the Copper Tubes division is renamed as “Copper & Alloys Extrusion Division”
Οn 01.07.2021 the decision with Registration Code Number 2574251 and protocol Nr. 73823/01.07.2021 of the Ministry of Development and Investments, General Secretariat of Commerce and Consumer Protection, was registered in the General Commercial Registry (“G.E.MI.”). Βy operation of the aforesaid decision the merger by absorption of “FITCO” by the Copper Extrusion division of ELVALHALCOR was approved.

Halcor, the copper tubes division of ElvalHalcor, was awarded for its approach in the recycling of copper and copper alloys, in the scope of the "Bravo Sustainability Dialogue & Awards," which took place in an online event, on Friday, June 4, 2021.
With this letter, we would like to inform you regarding the upcoming new structure of HALCOR, namely, the merger by absorption of "FITCO S.A." by the Copper Tubes division of ELVALHALCOR. Specifically, we announce that the Boards of Directors of the companies "ELVALHALCOR" and its 100% subsidiary, non-listed company "FITCO METAL WORKS SINGLE MEMBER S.A.” as per their decisions, on 14/5/2021, decided the commencement of preparatory activities for the merger by absorption of “FITCO” by "ELVALHALCOR".

For the 4th consecutive year, ΕlvalHalcor joins “The Most Sustainable Companies in Greece”. Together with 24 other companies, ElvalHalcor was evaluated, based on its performance in the “Sustainability Performance Directory” and ranked in "The Most Sustainable Companies in Greece" group of companies for the year 2020. Elval is the first Greek manufacturer to certify its casthouse, rolling, coil coating and finishing operations to the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Performance Standard
Elval, aluminium rolling division of ElvalHalcor announces the certification of its production facilities at Oinofyta, Greece to the ASI Performance Standard. The certification audit was conducted by DNV GL and it covered all the policies, procedures, infrastructure and practices that are in place against the criteria of the standard.
